Day started with a few pick up games while GC set up the back field. It was a great idea to have the big game played early because you need a lot of stamina for the challenging terain. The Lock game involed intercepting the opfor and taking there envelopes for codes to a lock,ATM cards and a not so real deal ATM machine lol.
We started as a team and set up a perimeter near a lock on a hill and waited for the opfor, instead they drew first blood and I ended up bleeding out and walking to regen. Since we had no radio and I knew the field somewhat, I decided to meet the opfor from the back and keep them on there toes. I had alo of fun sneeking up on Matt, Cam, Koku and the rest of them, even thou some of the ambushes provided the opposite effect.
After taking the Sniper Rock (highest poing of the field) from KoKu and GC. I found Mattace on the other side. Probally over 200ft away, and taunted him to come save his comrade from death. Instead he shot out and I coudnt believe it.. He actually hit me!.too bad. They lost anyways.

After the Lock game, Randy set up a pistol cource complete with a timer. Each of us took turns but I refused to embaress myself the second time. Top honors went to Luis and his "gas only" friends. After that I had to leave. It was anwesome day with some real cool players. We all had lots of fun.

I've got some nice quarter size welts on my back from that.

Not only once, but repeatedly.

Lol! Frankly, as you all know, it doesn't bother me to be shot no matter what role I happen to be in at the time ... even if I were just a bystander. It's all good.

Did not have a big crowd, but as always we had a great crowd.

We were able to mix things up quite a bit in playing styles this time around:
- Small field force-on-force fast paced games
- Large field think on your feet, humping up & down the hills with the ATM twist challenge
- Airsoft 'IPSC' style pistol fun (w/Cephas clocking a lowest time of 24.46 sec)

The sun burned the cloud cover off early so things literally heated up pretty fast. In the Lock/ATM game, teams had to:
- get the combination to their locks by searching opposing team players
- figure out which lock was theirs, open it & return it to a designated location
- once the lock was returned they had to locate RLB (out somewhere in the AO) who would then give them their ATM card with the 4 numbers for the PIN. The numbers were given randomly & not in sequence
- they would then have to go to the ATM, insert the card & figure out what the correct PIN was
- once they had the correct pin, they could 'withdraw' their team's desgnated money and then would have to find RLB again to deliver the money & win the game

Observing the game, there was some great encounters, strategies, gun battles & action. Though it was against the rules to 'guard' the ATM machine if you did not have the ATM card, Koku figured out it was OK to follow me & 'guard' me to prevent/stall the other team from getting their ATM card & PIN from me. He set up a pretty good ambush & held a number of them off for quite a while (killing 2-3 opfor), even after we were pretty much surrounded.

I hope everyone who came out had a fun time & they'll come out on 7/31 to Mr PB where I think we'll do a Lock/ATM game variation.

What's funny was Rhobz was sitting behind me & I thought he was the one who shot me. But when I turned I saw you sneaking up ... good play!
