Is there anyone interested in a competition that is strictly about your hand gun accuracy?
Is there anyone confident in their handgun shooting skills to test them against others?
Is there anyone willing to compete for a trophy or bragging rights about being the best handgun wielder?
I ask because myself and a good friend of mine have been mulling this idea over for about a year. If there is enough interest, this kind of competition might actually find its way to San Diego.

Rules (currently under revision):
1. Contest will be broken into age groups:
10 - 15
16 - 20
21 - 25
26 - 30
31 - and older
2. Aiming devices will be authorized by staff only
3. Guns can only be loaded to the same capacity as commercially bought real firearm magazines:
3a. you will be required to carry multiple magazines
3b. you cannot load your airsoft magazine to full capacity
3c. you cannot use an extended magazine (i.e. Glock or M93R) and load it with the real load equivalent of bbs
3d. There is no limit of how many magazines the competitor desires to carry (recommend no less than four (4) magazines)
4. You are authorized to use the following sources of propellant to operate your gun:

5. Eye protection must meet the following:

6. There is no velocity restriction (you are not shooting at a live target)
7. Gun restrictions:
7a. MUST be a gas blow back
7b. Slide MUST lock when out of ammo
7c. Gun MUST be semi auto ONLY (no select fire guns)
8. Guns will remain empty between shooting stages:
8a. After each station, all remaining ammo will be fired into a firing bin.
8b. Ammo will be given to each contestant for loading prior to entering the shooting area.
9. Each contestant will be responsible for his/her ammo:
9a. If you fail to load the proper amount of ammo, you will lose points for each shot not fired
9b. If you fail to load the proper amount of ammo, you will have points deducted for each shot over your allowed limit
10. Weapon failures:
10a. If your weapon fails to fire per manufacture specifications, you may exchange your gun with a staff authorized replacement.
10b. If your weapon fails to fire per manufacture specifications, you may repair your gun. In this case, your name will be put as the last shooter in that current event. If you cannot repair your gun by the time your name is called, you will be given the longest time of that course of fire, plus 5 seconds (longest time, 3.3 seconds plus 5 seconds = 8.3 seconds)
