Camp Pendleton is a Military Base and playing here is a privilege. The paintball field is one of the best and includes several war relics in the field, including a CH-53, several trucks and a M110.
ROE (Rules of Engagement):
1. Airsoft is a game of honor. Please call your own hits. Mind your own hits. Do not call opposing players out.
2. When traveling to and off the fields keep your weapon in a box or gun bag. The magazine out of the weapon. Keep the weapons in your trunk.
3. Keep you orange tip on your weapon. On a base where security of real weapons is an issue, it is important to keep a distinction. While on the field, black tape on you tip can hid the tip.
4. Bio BBs- Biodegradable BBs are a must for Camp Pendleton. Standard BBs last 10,000+ years before they breakdown. The Bio BBs last only a few years.
5. Mask- Full face masks are highly recommended. All players are required to wear ANSI-Z87 (or equivalent) rated goggles or paintball masks which enclose the entire eye area and conform to the features of the face with a rubber or foam seal. Steel mesh goggle are not allowed, due to risk with fragments in the eyes.
6. Weapon Safety: Weapons should be made “safe” and magazines removed when in a staging area or other “safe zone”.
a. AEGs 425fps
b. Semi-Automatic Sniper weapons 550 fps.
7. No smoking outside of designated areas. No smoke or pyrotechnics allowed.
8. No blind fire. You must be able to see with your own eyes what you are shooting at.
9. Use the “Bang, Bang!” rule if you have another player “dead to rights” at close range. Use this rule when engaged under 10 feet. If both players round a corner pointing a weapon at each other, call “Parley” and back off of each other. Or bang each other and both are out.
10. No hosing. Give opponents a chance to call themselves out between bursts.
11. Uniforms- If you did not earn it, don’t wear it. No MARPAT, unless you are or were a Marine. That is also true of any patches or insignias. ACU is used by non-military groups, and is authorized without any Army patches or designators. Out dated military uniforms or uniforms from other nations are allowed. When on base, go directly to the paintball field, if you are not in the military. You cannot go to any other base establishment unless you are escorted by someone from the base. Do not wear a para-military uniform around the base.
12. You will need to have a waiver signed. To speed-up the process here is a link to the CP field:
