If you have been looking for a
way to sight your airsoft rifle or even just want to have some
practice, we came across a pretty cool automatic target.
In the past, if you used a paper target, even though it
allowed you to sight your rifle, you still had to replace the
paper once it was full of holes. With airsoft, you
aren't going to get the same accuracy as you would with the
real steel so anything within a 4-6 inch grouping from 30
yards out would be considered AWESOME. Well that is
exactly why we are making this review.
What we found was a target that
is battery powered and it resets itself automatically so you
don't have to move a muscle after you shoot down all of the
targets. It is powered by four double A batteries and
has an on/off switch so you don't have to worry about the
batteries wearing themselves down when your not using it.
The way this target works is
when you shoot down the last target it will automatically pull
them back up into place. The left target is the one that
resets them, so if you only shoot the left target, it will
continue to reset. So start on the right.
At first glance it looks as
if this target is cheaply made. After testing we found
the target held up quite nicely to our torture. We were
shooting the target with a Tokyo Marui AEG. This AEG was
stock so we estimate it to be shooting at about 280 FPS.
We were about 8 yards away because we wanted to see what type
of damage it would cause (if any) from that distance.
Which just so happens to be about the same length as a garage
or the small back yard patio.
Here are some pictures we
took of the target.

And here is some video we
took of the target in action..
